Anatomy Lessons

If you get the chance, I highly recommend visiting Anatomy Lessons by Michele Beevors at La Trobe Regional Gallery in Morwell before 23 August.  

This extraordinary exhibition features 17 beautifully hand-knitted skeletal sculptures of endangered animals, each telling a poignant story about extinction, climate change and our relationship with the natural world. I was captivated by the incredible craftsmanship, but it was the stories behind the animals that stayed with me long after I left. It's thought-provoking, moving and surprisingly beautiful—an exhibition that gently encourages us to reflect on the kind of future we're creating for the wildlife we share this planet with.
