Nature on my doorstep
Right on my door step is the stunning Wilson’s Promontory affectionately known as “The Prom”. There are three traditional owners groups with a connection to Prom Country – Gunaikurnai, Bunurong and Boon Wurrung. The ‘Yiruk’ and ‘Warnoon’ are the names the traditional owners give the Prom. Such a special place, full of inspiration and natural beauty.
Distant Memory Wilsons Promontory
These paintings are impressions of the beautiful costal beaches, hills and rocky shorelines in South Gippsland. A celebration of light, shape and textures through the landscape. Our beautiful environment kept in a fine balance by nature itself. I always enjoy the solitude when creating my work, the inner dialogue with myself.
